Matt Berry ist ein vielseitiger Künstler: Ende der neunziger Jahre startete er seine Karriere zunächst als TV-Moderator, bevor er als Comedian in Kultserien wie „Mighty Boosh“, „IT Crowd“ sowie mit seiner eigenen Show „Snuff Box“ zu nationalem TV-Ruhm gelangte.

Aber auch als Musiker braucht der humorvolle Brite sein Licht nicht unter den Scheffel zu stellen: sein hierzulande leider weitgehend unbeachtetes Album „Witchhazel“ (2011) erhielt höchste Weihen von Uncut, Q oder The Times („psych-folk genius“), und mit „Kill The Wolf“ legt Berry nicht minder gelungen nach. Als Gastmusiker dabei: James Robert Shaw (Eveything Everything), Eric Johnson (The Shins) und Mark Morris von den The Bluetones.
