Dafür spannen Manhattan Transfer, begleitet von einer Band plus komplettem Bläsersatz, den Bogen von Boogie-Woogie, über Swing und Bebop bis hin zum Gospel-orientierten Old Man Mose. Dazwischen finden sich atemberaubende a-cappella-Interpretationen, intelligente Show-Einlagen und der mit viel Liebe zum Detail dargebotene Klassiker My Foolish Heart. Einer der Höhepunkte ist zweifelsohne Manhattan Transfer’s Version des vor allem durch Ella Fitzgerald’s Interpretation zur Berühmtheit gelangten Swing-Hits A Tisket, A Tasket. Janis Siegel has already released two Telarc recordings, Friday Night Special (2002) and I Wish You Love (2003), and Cheryl Bentyne’s first Telarc release, Talk of the Town, is due in January 2004.
