Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1969 spielen Little Feat eine vielseitige und von Kritikern weltweit bejubelte Mischung aus Rock & Roll, Blues, R&B, Boogie, Country, Folk, Gospel, Soul, Funk, und Jazz-Einflüssen – mit Fokus auf die Musik aus dem Süden der USA. Ursprünglich wurden die zwei, jetzt von Demon / Edsel auf einer Doppel-CD veröffentlichten Alben 1977 und 1979 veröffentlicht. Sie sind somit auch die letzten Platten und das Vermächtnis ihres talentierten Frontmanns Lowell George, der im Juni 1979 verstarb. Die Doppel-CD kommt mit den kompletten Lyrics und einem schön aufgemachten Booklet, das ausführliche Linernotes beinhaltet, sowie neuem Mastering.

Since their formation in 1969, Little Feat have played an eclectic blend of rock and roll, blues, R&B, boogie, country, folk, gospel, soul, funk and jazz fusion influences. They still tour constantly, and still play songs from these albums, notably the title tracks, “New Delhi Freight Train” and “Old Folks Boogie”.

These two albums, from 1977 and 1979, were Little Feat’s last two studio albums with Lowell George, “Down On The Farm” being completed after George’s death in June 1979.
