Die gekonnte Verbindung aus Alternative Country, Soul, Gospel Chören, dicken Streicherbelägen und Kurt Wagners letzten Ausflügen in Mayfieldsche Falsett-Höhen (bevor Whisky, Nikotin und das Alter dem ein Ende setzten) war schlichtweg eine Sensation.
