Das dritte Album - erstmals mit eigenen Stücken
1991 kam Karis drittes Album "Spor", ihr erstes "eigenes" Album mit Musik und Texten von ihr, ausser einer Vetonung des Gedichts "I Uro" von Karin Boye, neben Edith Södergran die beste Lyrikerin Skandinaviens. Auf "Spor" ist die Band gewachsen. Neben Klavier und Percussion wird Kari hier auch von u. a. Gitarren, Bass und Chören begleitet. Die Platte war ihr Durchbruch und wurde zu den besten Platten Norwegens im Jahr '91 gewählt.
