The classic album, currently available via Hip-O Select, features Parker's renowned recordings of "Yonder's Wall," "I Need Your Love So Bad," and, of course, the title track. The election comes six years after Junior Parker was selected for the Hall Of Fame as an artist. Induction will take place May 9 in Memphis, Tennessee.
This is the U. S. CD debut of Junior Parker’s early ‘60s, originally released by Duke Records to take advantage of the hit singles “How Long Can This Go On,’ “Annie Get Your Yo Yo,” and, of course, the signature “Driving Wheel.” The album was also the first showcase for such songs as “I Need Love So Bad,” “Seven Days,” and “Yonder’s Wall,” all of which would become well-covered blues classics.
