Im Jahr 2003 machte die Band ihre erste und bislang einzige Stippvisite beim Montreux Festival. Das Konzert war aufgeteilt in eine semi-akustische erste Hälfte und einen komplett elektrifizierten zweiten Durchgang, ein wahrer Triumphzug mit neueren Songs sowie vielen Klassikern. Wie gewohnt leitete Ian Anderson seine Band mit seiner einzigartigen Stimme und einem unnachahmlichen Flötenspiel, bei dem er zumeist auf nur einem Bein steht.
