Product-Information:
One of the finest Prog Rock bands signed to EMI’s Harvest label, the Greatest Show On Earth was the brainchild of talented musical brothers Norman and Garth Watt-Roy. With Norman (bass), Garth (guitar) and Colin Horton-Jennings (vocals), backed by a hot brass section, this eight-piece outfit formed in 1968 certainly packs a punch. We are proud to present the group’s debut album, first released in 1970. Among the eight tracks are such cool compositions as ‘Sunflower Morning’ and ‘Angelina’. One of the catchiest is ‘Real Cool World’, released as a single and a big hit throughout Europe. It even topped the charts in Switzerland! With an eye-catching sleeve designed by Hipgnosis, ‘Horizons’ has become a collectors item throughout the world and still sounds – the greatest.
