Godley & Creme: Freeze Frame / Ismism on 2 CDs

After 10cc split in 1976, the remaining ‘pop’ half continued to issue successful 10cc singles and albums. But no-one knew quite what to expect of the more inventive, humorous and downright clever half made up of Kevin Godley and Lol Creme.

On this mid-price 2 CD set, we present their third and fourth albums (from 1979 and 1981), both absolutely bursting with invention, production techniques way ahead of their time, and a clutch of pop songs that wouldn’t have been out of place on a 10cc album.

Included here are the duo’s two major hit singles: “Under Your Thumb”, which reached # 3 (possibly the only ghost story to make the Top 3), and its follow-up “Wedding Bells”, which reached # 7, aided by a superb video (a medium G + C quickly became masters of).

This annotated package includes seven bonus tracks – the non-album singles sides, all of which make their debut on CD. “Freeze Frame” also includes guest appearances from Paul McCartney and Roxy Music’s Phil Manzanera.
