After decades of musical experimentation in L. The bulk of Frausdots' material was conceived nearly three years ago on a trip to Spain with co-conspirator Michelle Loiselle. Also contributing to Couture, Couture, Couture are: The Cure's Roger O'Donnel, Ric Menck (Velvet Crush, Matthew Sweet,) Ned Brower of Rooney, Corey Lee Grant of the Warlocks and Hunter Crowley of the Brian Jonestown Massacre. Couture, Couture, Couture was recorded in the Summer of 2003 at Jimmy Sloan's Hollywood hills home studio as forest fires raged in the nearby San Fernando Valley. Drawing from early '80s rock recordings where new methodologies transformed analog equipment and instrumentation into an entirely different animal altogether, Frausdots aimed to create an album "in the vain of classic Echo and the Bunnymen_dark, rough, but precise."[DUT]Track Listing: 1.
