Live mit Orchester: Die Dänen spielen ihr 2007er-Erfolgsalbum neu ein; plus DVD.
"Performing Parades" ist das bis dato ambitionierteste Projekt der dänischen Band Efterklang. Zusammen mit dem Nationalen Kammerorchester von Dänemark spielten die Kopenhagener ihr 2007er-Album "Parades" neu ein. Das englische Musikmagazin "Mojo" nannte das Ereignis "erhebend, feierlich und auf herrliche Art lächerlich - wie eine alternative Nationalhymne für eine nordische Utopie ungebundener Freude." Die Liveaufname vom 26. September 2008 aus dem neuen Konzerthaus in Kopenhagen erscheint als CD/DVD-Deluxe-Set in limitierter Auflage sowie in einer ebenfalls limitierten Do-LP-Auflage ebenfalls mit DVD. Letztere enthält einen 55-minütigen Konzertfilm sowie Extras wie eine Hinter-den-Kulissen-Doku und alle sechs Videos, die zum abgefeierten Album "Parades" erschienen.
