›Mellow Yellow‹ ist das vierte Album des britischen Singer-Songwriter Donovan. Es erschien ursprünglich in den USA im März 1967 aber aufgrund eines Vertragsstreits nicht in Großbritanien.
Die Songs auf ›Mellow Yellow‹ stehen für einen Wandel in Donovans Schreibstil. Donovan gab hier auch einen Wink an seinen Freund Bert Jansch auf ›House of Jansch‹, was die Platte als bereits drittes Donovan Album in Folge markiert, das Tribut an eine britischen Folk Persönlichkeit zollt. Auf dem Album spielt John Cameron Bluespiano, Cembalo und übernahm die Arrangements und, obwohl auf dem Album nicht erwähnt, spielte Paul McCartney Bassgitarre und lieferte Background Vocals auf einigen Tracks.
