Product-Information:
Here is the splendid third album by the band that set new standards in British blues performance from their earliest days. It was first released in 1970 under their full name the ‘Climax Chicago Blues Band’. The title had two meanings, a ‘lot of bottle’ as in a ‘lot of nerve’…or…a lot of bottleneck blues guitar playing. Either way, it encapsulated the sound and style of a band that become hugely popular throughout the Seventies and beyond. The 11 tracks include one of the band’s first singles ‘Reap What I’ve Sowed’. This was the band’s first release on EMI’s Harvest label and was the only the third album to be recorded at George Martin’s famed Air Studios in London. Watch out for the boy‘s version of the old Muddy Waters’ number ‘Louisiana Blues’. It sure is a lot of Climax.
