Seit seinen ersten Veröffentlichungen mit Roxy Music Anfang der 1970er hat sich Bryan Ferry als einer der außergewöhnlichsten und innovativsten Musiker und Komponisten der Popmusik etabliert.
Im Jahr 2011 zog Ferry mit seiner „Olympia”-Tournee rund um den Globus und zeichnete dabei am 25. Juli diese spektakuläre Show im altehrwürdigen römischen Amphitheater von Lyon auf.
Das Konzert umfasst Songs aus Ferrys 40-jähriger Karriere mit Klassikern von Roxy Music wie „Oh Yeah!”, „Love Is The Drug”, „Avalon”, „Jealous Guy” oder „My Only Love”, dazu Solo-Hits und seine bekannten Interpretationen von Songs anderer Komponisten, die er allesamt mit unnachahmlichem Stil und typischem Elan präsentiert.
