Nun folgt eine Reissue des berühmten Billy Paul-Albums "War Of The Gods". Der US-amerikanische Sänger und Grammy Award-Preisträger ist einer der wichtigsten und erfolgreichsten Vertreter des sogenannten Phillysound.
"War Of The Gods" (1973) entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit erstklassigen Gastmusikern wie Bobby Eli, Bunny Sigler, Norman Harris, Leon Huff oder Ron Baker. Das Album gilt auch als erstklassige Sample-Quelle, so verwendeten DJ Shadow, Ludacris, Jaylib, Cappadonna oder Ghostface Killah bereits Samples der Albumsongs in ihren Produktionen.
