1983 erschien das Debütalbum eines jungen englischen Singer / Songwriters: "Life’s A Riot With Spy Vs Spy" von Billy Bragg.
Auf dem gerade mal 17 Minuten langen Album finden sich viele Hits des Briten u. a. "A New England", "The Milkman Of Human Kindness" und "The Man In The Iron Mask".
Zum 30. Jubiläum wird das Album in einer neu gemasterten Version wieder veröffentlicht. Dazu gibt’s als Bonus eine Liveversion des Albums, die Bragg im Juni 2013 live und solo während eines Konzerts in der London Union Chapel zum Besten gab.
