“Eve” von 1979 muss eins der besten Alben des Alan Parsons Projects sein – ein Album mit den komplexesten Songs: über Frauen und den unglaublichen Effekt, den sie auf Männer haben.
Im Laufe des Albums ergibt sich ein musikalischer Kampf zwischen den Geschlechtern mit Eva die Adam zu Anbeginn der Zeit verführt und es niemals verlernt, das männliche Ego auseinanderzunehmen – besonders mit sexuellen Mitteln. Die beiden Sängerinnen (Lesley Duncan und Clare Torry) stellen die weibliche Perspektive dar, was das Album höchst unterhaltsam gestaltet. Einige der Highlights auf dem Album sind "You Won't Be There" über die fundamentale Unsicherheit des Menschen, das flegelhafte "You Lie Down With Dogs" und das furiose „Lucifer“. „Eve“ ist eine der besten Zusammenfügungen von Musik und Konzept.
