As the successor to the Blu-ray Disc, the Ultra HD Blu-ray is an optical data storage device for movies in ultra-high definition format. The eponymous Ultra HD resolution is a maximum of 3840 × 2160 pixels. In contrast to its predecessor, it also supports a higher contrast range, a higher refresh rate and a larger color space. Normal Blu-ray players cannot play the new media. Ultra HD Blu-ray-capable devices are usually backward compatible.
Blu-Ray DiscThe Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

Jeff Lebowski, der sich schlicht 'The Dude' nennt, ist der wohl trägste Mensch von Los Angeles. Ein schlaffer Alt-Hippie, der sich ausschließlich von White-Russian-Cocktails ernährt, am liebsten Walgesänge hört und auch den Joint nur selten aus der Hand legt. Die verbleibende Zeit widmet er gemeinsam mit seinen Freunden Walter und Danny dem Bowling. Doch mit dem 'easy living' ist es schlagartig vorbei, als der 'Dude' mit einem gleichnamigen Millionär verwechselt wird. Erst pinkeln zwei Geldeintreiber auf seinen Lieblingsteppich, dann wird er von ihnen verprügelt, um Schulden seiner angeblichen Frau Bunny bei ihm einzukassieren. Schließlich wird eben diese Bunny entführt und der echte Mr. Lebowski heuert seinen Namensvetter als Lösegeldkurier an. Als der 'Dude' die Geldübergabe vermasselt, geht der Ärger erst richtig los!

»Jeff Lebowski ist, zur Zeit des Golfkriegs 1991, ein kalifornischer Tagträumer mit Hippie-Allüren. Aufgrund einer Namensverwechslung gerät er zusammen mit liebenswert randständigen Freunden in einen abstrusen Fall von Kidnapping, in dem er bald die Übersicht verliert und dennoch nicht untergeht. Ein leichthändig arrangiertes, famos besetztes Schelmenstück, mit virtuosen Gags und tollen Sounds von Bob Dylan bis Mozart.« (Zoom)
