The Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

Chili Palmer arbeitet als Geldeintreiber für den Kredithai Ray 'Bones' Barboni in Miami, doch seine wahre Berufung ist der Film. Was für eine glückliche Fügung, dass er 300 000 Dollar und deren angeblich verstorbenen Besitzer in Los Angeles auftreiben muss! Schnell knüpft er Kontakt zu einem Produzent in Nöten, einer verkannten Schauspielerin und einem sehr kleinen großen Star. Er hat auch schon eine brillante Idee für ein Drehbuch und könnte voll durchstarten in Hollywood - wäre da nicht das leidige Geld und die diversen 'Investoren', die hinter ihm her sind...
