As the successor to the Blu-ray Disc, the Ultra HD Blu-ray is an optical data storage device for movies in ultra-high definition format. The eponymous Ultra HD resolution is a maximum of 3840 × 2160 pixels. In contrast to its predecessor, it also supports a higher contrast range, a higher refresh rate and a larger color space. Normal Blu-ray players cannot play the new media. Ultra HD Blu-ray-capable devices are usually backward compatible.
Blu-Ray DiscThe Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

James Dalton, ein Mann mit dubioser Vergangenheit und einem Hochschulabschluss in Philosophie, arbeitet als Rausschmeißer für Lokale und Clubs. Er ist bekannt dafür, Konflikte zwischen den Gästen diskret, aber wenn nötig auch hart und kompromisslos zu lösen. Seiner Professionalität verdankt er schon bald die Stelle als Geschäftsführer im heruntergekommenen Nachtclub Double Deuce, dessen einst guten Ruf er wiederherstellen soll.
Gemeinsam mit den von ihm ausgebildeten Türstehern verschafft er sich schnell Respekt, unterbindet Schlägereien und sorgt dafür, dass das Geschäft wieder floriert. Der Erfolg macht das Double Deuce jedoch für den Schutzgelderpresser Brad Wesley und dessen Schlägertruppe interessant, die ein lukratives Geschäft wittern und den Laden so richtig aufmischen und ausnehmen wollen - doch sie haben die Rechnung ohne Dalton gemacht!
