Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

In eine nicht von ihm verschuldete Mordsache verwickelt, flüchtet der englische Journalist Bradley in den nordthailändischen Dschungel. Als sein Weggefährte getötet und er selbst von einem Eingeborenenstamm gefangen genommen wird, erfährt er am eigenen Leib, dass der Urwald sehr viele ungeahnte Gefahren birgt. Seiner blonden Haare und des Taucheranzugs wegen, halten ihn die Eingeborenen für einen Fischmenschen. Der erzwungene Aufenthalt bei den primitiven Wilden wird zu einer einzigen Kette von Qualen und Grausamkeiten, mit einer liebevollen Begegnung.
Als dann das Dorf von einem hungrigen Kannibalenstamm angegriffen wird, kommt es zu einem bestialischen Kampf um Leben und Tod.
