Ultra HD Blu-ray

As the successor to the Blu-ray Disc, the Ultra HD Blu-ray is an optical data storage device for movies in ultra-high definition format. The eponymous Ultra HD resolution is a maximum of 3840 × 2160 pixels. In contrast to its predecessor, it also supports a higher contrast range, a higher refresh rate and a larger color space. Normal Blu-ray players cannot play the new media. Ultra HD Blu-ray-capable devices are usually backward compatible.

Blu-Ray Disc

The Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

Eine britische Raummission zur Erforschung des Halley'schen Kometen entdeckt in seinem Schweif ein geheimnisvolles Flugobjekt. An Bord findet die Crew neben einigen Leichen zwei Männer und eine verführerische Frau im Tiefschlaf. Die Crew beginnt mit der Bergung und löst damit eine Katastrophe aus, denn als das Raumschiff auf der Erde landet, ist es ausgebrannt und die Besatzung bis auf Kommandant Carlsen tot. Die drei Passagiere stürzen als blutsaugende Aliens London in ein apokalyptisches Chaos. Carlsen nimmt den Kampf gegen die Vernichtung der Menschheit auf... und gegen Mathilda May, die den Zuschauern als erotische und furchterregende Außerirdische den Atem raubt.
