The Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.
DVDMost of the offered DVDs have the region code 2 for Europe and the PAL picture format. However, we also offer releases from the USA, which come on the market in NTSC format and with the country code 1. This is then indicated in our item details.

Nach einem unterirdischen Vulkanausbruch kommt es an der Westküste Irlands zu einem folgenschweren Seebeben, das mehrere Schiffe manövrierunfähig macht und in die Tiefe reißt. Kurz darauf wird die Fischereiflotte eines nahe liegenden Küstendorfes von einem prähistorischen Ungeheuer angegriffen. Joe Ryan und seiner Crew gelingt es jedoch, die Bestie mit vereinten Kräften einzufangen. Sie verkaufen sie an einen Londoner Zirkus - dort soll sie unter dem Namen »Gorgo« als Attraktion zur Schau gestellt werden. Doch schon bald stellt sich heraus, dass es sich bei »Gorgo« um ein Jungtier handelt - und die Mutter des Kleinen ist alles andere als begeistert.
