Ultra HD Blu-ray

As the successor to the Blu-ray Disc, the Ultra HD Blu-ray is an optical data storage device for movies in ultra-high definition format. The eponymous Ultra HD resolution is a maximum of 3840 × 2160 pixels. In contrast to its predecessor, it also supports a higher contrast range, a higher refresh rate and a larger color space. Normal Blu-ray players cannot play the new media. Ultra HD Blu-ray-capable devices are usually backward compatible.

Blu-Ray Disc

The Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

CD (Compact Disc)

Conventional CD, playable with all CD players and computer drives, but also with most SACD or multiplayers.

Majorin Motoko Kusanagi vom japanischen Geheimdienst 'Sektion 9' und ebenfalls betroffen, macht sich auf die Jagd nach den »Puppenspieler«...

»Ghost in the Shell« ist ein futuristischer Thriller mit schnellen Action-Szenen und großen philosophischen Fragen, aus dem sich ein komplettes Franchise entwickelte. Unter der Regie von Mamoru Oshii ist der Film einer der bekanntesten Anime überhaupt. Es ist der erste Anime, der es auf Platz 1 der Billboard-Charts schaffte. Die große Beliebtheit lässt sich auch an der 2017er Realverfilmung mit Scarlett Johansson erkennen.

Das stilprägende Sci-Fi-Meisterwerk von Mamoru Oshii ist ohne Übertreibung die »Mutter aller Animes« und erscheint in einer faszinierenden Collector´s Edition, mit zahlreichen Extras.
