Durch Zufall treffen sich zwei Pärchen aus Madrid. Bruno und Anne laden Andy und Thelma unter falschen Vorwänden in ihren Landsitz ein. Als die beiden Paare dort ankommen zieht ein mächtiger Sturm auf und Andy und Thelma sind gezwungen über Nacht zu bleiben. Die Paare beschäftigen sich nach kurzer Zeit mit der Kommunikation mit Geistern. Bald kommt es zu Streit, Thelma hatte eine Affäre mit Andys Bruder, Bruno wird von Anne wegen seinem Selbstmordversuch kritisiert. Das ist allerdings nur der Anfang des schrecklichen Treibens in diesem Haus, es kommt noch zu ganz anderen okkulten Ereignissen...
