Nachdem ihre Zwillingsschwester tragisch ums Leben gekommen ist, nimmt Carla ihre Nichte Corey bei sich auf. Zuhause auf der alten Farm der Familie angekommen, lernt Corey auch ihr wunderliche Großmutter Annabelle kennen. Diese ist davon überzeugt, dass es die Zahnfee wirklich gibt …und dass diese abgrundtief böse ist. Sie erzählt Corey eine Geschichte, dass sie die verfluchte Zahnfee als Kind zusammen mit anderen Kindern verbannt hatte, doch dass sie nun wieder zurückgekommen ist… Carla, die alles für ein Hirngespinst hält, muss bald jedoch feststellen, dass diese düstere Legende nun zum blutigen Albtraum wird.
