The Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

Pierre Radamante wird des Nachts Zeuge eines mysteriösen Geschehens: Eine junge Frau wird von einer Gruppe von Gestalten mit bizarren Tiermasken verfolgt. Er will ihr zu Hilfe eilen, kann jedoch nicht verhindern, dass sie von ihnen erschossen wird. Eine der grotesken Figuren trägt die scheinbare Tote auf ein herrschaftliches Anwesen - mit Unbehagen realisiert Pierre, dass es seinem Vater gehört. Es gelingt Pierre, sich unerkannt Zugang zum Gebäude zu verschaffen: Zu seinem Schrecken wohnt er einem Ritual einer Selbstmord frönenden Sekte bei! Pierre traut seinen Augen nicht, als die für tot gehaltene junge Frau quicklebendig erscheint und das Blut einer Selbstmörderin trinkt.
