Der skrupellose Gangster Vic Dakin ist ein Soziopath, dessen einziges Interesse sein persönlicher Profit und die Loyalität seines Toyboys Wolfe Lissner sind. Dafür geht er über Leichen! Ein atemberaubendes Katz-und-Maus-Spiel zwischen einem skrupellosen Gangster und einem unermüdlichen Inspektor. Der Film sorgte 1971 mit Richard Burton in der Hauptrolle des homosexuellen, sadomasochistischen Gangsterbosses für viel Aufsehen. Produziert wurde der berühmte, aber auch harte Krimi von keinem Geringeren als Alan Ladd Jr.!
