General MacArthur, Befehlshaber der amerikanischen Streitkräfte, plant eine riskante Operation. Er hat einige kleine Einheiten ausgesandt, um entsprechende Informationen zu sammeln. Doch den Nordkoreanern gelingt es, ein Schiff zu kapern und die Besatzung gefangen zu nehmen. Der gesamte Plan der Amerikaner ist dadurch gefährdet, denn die Feinde schrecken selbst vor grausamster Folter nicht zurück.
