James Stewart and Kim Novak star in this romantic comedy directed by Richard Quine. When modern-day witch Gillian Holroyd (Novak) first sees publisher Shepherd Henderson (Stewart), she knows that he is the one for her and so she casts a spell to make him fall in love with her. Unfortunately, however, Shepherd is already engaged to be married to an old college rival of Gillian's. Worse still, if Gillian falls in love, she risks losing her magic forever...
