The Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

Most of the offered DVDs have the region code 2 for Europe and the PAL picture format. However, we also offer releases from the USA, which come on the market in NTSC format and with the country code 1. This is then indicated in our item details.

Der junge Dr. Martin bewirbt sich für eine Stelle in einer abgelegenen Anstalt für Geisteskranke. Beim Vorstellungsgespräch der etwas anderen Art werden ihm vier Patienten und ihre Geschichten vorgeführt, die allesamt in "Dunsmoor" einsitzen. Er erfährt von einer ermordeten Ehefrau, von einem Schneider, der einen Anzug aus seltsamem Material für einen ganz speziellen Kunden herstellen musste, einer Patientin, die von einer Freundin angeblich zu Mordtaten gedrängt wurde, und von einem Wissenschaftler, der tatsächlich glaubt, kleine Menschenfiguren zum Leben erwecken zu können. Laut Dr. Starr sind alle Patienten unheilbar krank, doch ein großes Geheimnis liegt über der Anstalt, die Dr. Martin an seine Grenze bringt!
