As the successor to the Blu-ray Disc, the Ultra HD Blu-ray is an optical data storage device for movies in ultra-high definition format. The eponymous Ultra HD resolution is a maximum of 3840 × 2160 pixels. In contrast to its predecessor, it also supports a higher contrast range, a higher refresh rate and a larger color space. Normal Blu-ray players cannot play the new media. Ultra HD Blu-ray-capable devices are usually backward compatible.

Bei einer Séance gelingt es Gomez Addams endlich, seinen seit 25 Jahren im Jenseits verschollen geglaubten Bruder Fester ins Leben zurückzuholen. Zumindest sieht der Mann, der an die Tür der Addams-Villa klopft, Fester verblüffend ähnlich. Gomez ist überglücklich, doch der Rest der Familie hegt zunehmend Zweifel an der Identität des Mannes - allen voran Tochter Wednesday. Das liegt auch an Festers mysteriöser Begleitung, der zwielichtig wirkenden Ärztin Dr. Pinder-Schloss. Ist Fester in Wahrheit ein von ihr eingeschleuster Doppelgänger, der die Familie um ihr Vermögen bringen soll?
