About the film
Tae-Sik lebt zurückgezogen und geht seiner Tätigkeit als Pfandleiher nach. Als sich seine Nachbarin durch einen Drogendiebstahl mit einem mächtigen Kartell anlegt und die Ware in seinem Pfandhaus versteckt, wird er unfreiwillig in die Sache hineingezogen. Die Nachbarin wird samt ihrer Tochter So-mi entführt und Tae-sik wird gezwungen, einen Job für das Kartell zu übernehmen, will er sie wiedersehen. Schnell wird ihm klar, dass er damit zur Marionette der Drogenbosse wird und es keinen Ausweg mehr gibt. Doch das Kartell hat nicht mit einem Pfandleiher gerechnet, der ein ausgebildeter Special Agent ist.
