"Primeval: New World" wird u. a. in Zusammenarbeit mit ProSieben von der kanadischen Omni Film in Vancouver, Kanada, produziert. Zunächst sind 13 Episoden vorgesehen, als Executive Producer fungieren Martin Wood ("Stargate: Atlantis") und Gillian Horvath ("Andromeda"). ProSieben wird die Serie 2013 zum ersten Mal im Free-TV zeigen.
