About the film
Der Berliner Paul (Mario Barth) arbeitet tagsüber in einer Zoohandlung und abends tritt er als Komiker auf. Seine Auftritte laufen mies... bis Paul anfängt, Witze über seinen besten Kumpel Hotte (Dieter Tappert) und dessen Freundin Susi (Anja Kling) zu reißen. Auf einmal läuft es auf der Bühne: Pauls Gags über Hottes Beziehungsgeschichten, nicht enden wollende Shopping-Orgien von Susi und den Pärchen-Kaffeeklatsch bei den Schwiegereltern sind ein Renner. Das Publikum rast vor Begeisterung. Hotte und Susi auch. Und auf einmal steht Paul vor der schwersten Entscheidung seines Lebens: Freundschaft oder Karriere?
