Bevor die schöne Liesel heiraten darf, muß Kohlhiesel erst einen Mann für Susi finden, das hat der Gastwirt seiner verstorbenen Frau versprechen müssen. Durch eine Heiratsanzeige finden sich sogar zwei Bewerber. Der eine, ein Schnorrer, ist nur auf die Mitgift aus, der andere, ein Student, auf Susis hübsche Schwester.
