Diese Frau muss man einfach lieben! Gloria ist 58 Jahre alt, geschieden und ihre Kinder sind schon aus dem Haus. Doch allein will sie ihre Tage und Nächte nicht verbringen. Dem Alter und der Einsamkeit trotzend, tanzt sie voller Lebenslust auf Single-Partys und flirtet, was das Zeug hält. Als sie den sieben Jahre älteren Rodolfo kennenlernt, scheint sie endlich eine neue Liebe gefunden zu haben. Doch was leidenschaftlich und liebevoll beginnt, wird für Gloria bald zu einer emotionalen Achterbahnfahrt. Zwischen Hoffnung und Enttäuschung schwankend erkennt sie schließlich, dass das Leben noch viel für sie bereithält. Denn diese Frau lässt sich nicht unterkriegen. Nach jedem Rückschlag steht Gloria wieder auf und ihr Stern strahlt heller als zuvor.
