About the film

Kim Hyeok (Ju Jin-mo) floh einst aus Nordkorea. Dabei ließ er seine Mutter und seinen jüngeren Bruder Kim Cheol (Kim Kang-woo) zurück. In den folgenden Jahren kämpfte sich Hyeok an die Spitze der Gangsterwelt von Busan hoch, stets auf der Suche nach dem Bruder. Als er ihn endlich gefunden hat, wird er verraten und landet wegen seiner rechten Hand Tae-min (Jo Han-sun) in einem thailändischen Knast. Der treue Young-choon (Song Seung-heon) startet vergeblich eine Rettungsaktion und wird verkrüppelt.

3 Jahre später kommt Hyeok frei und findet Verräter Tae-min an der Spitze der Gang, während Young-choon ein Wrack ist. Und nicht nur das, Bruder Cheol ist nun ein Polizist, der alles daran setzt, Hyeok hinter Gitter zu bringen, weil er ihn für den Tod der Mutter verantwortlich macht.
