Ursprünglich 1971 bei Contemporary Records erschienen, wurde das bahnbrechende Album von den soziopolitischen Missständen der 60er Jahre inspiriert. In ihrer Rezension bezeichnete Allmusic das Album als "... eine bahnbrechende Aufnahme und einen Angelpunkt in der Geschichte der postmodernen Musik". Diese 2-LP-Wiederveröffentlichung wurde von Kevin Gray von den analogen Originalbändern remastert und bei RTI auf 180-Gramm-Vinyl gepresst, das in einem Klappcover untergebracht ist.
