Es enthält Larry Gales am Bass, Ben Riley am Schlagzeug und Charlie Rouse am Tenorsaxophon. Das Album enthält zwei Eigenkompositionen und mehrere Jazz-Standards.
"Pannonica" ist eine Hommage an die Jazz-Mäzenin Pannonica de Koenigswarter und "Teo" ist eine Hommage an den Produzenten des Albums, Teo Macero.
"Monk." ist als 60th Anniversary Edition in einer Auflage von 1500 einzeln nummerierten Exemplaren auf silber-schwarz marmoriertem Vinyl erhältlich. Die Hülle enthält Linernotes von Bill Evans.
