Die südafrikanische Pianistin Thandi Ntuli reiste 2019 nach Los Angeles, wo sie in einem Studio in Venice Beach mit dem International Anthem-Künstler Carlos Niño als Produzent dieses Album mit nackten, erforschenden Klavier- und Gesangsstücken aufnahm. Ein absolut atemberaubender, intimer Hörgenuss, bei dem Ntulis Können als Pianistin und ihre Einzigartigkeit als Sängerin ebenso zur Geltung kommen wie ihre Furchtlosigkeit, Verletzlichkeit und Abenteuerlust bei gelegentlichen Experimenten mit Synthesizern und Schlagzeug. Niño färbt offene minimalistische Klanglandschaften mit überlagertem Schlagzeug, Becken und Pflanzen.
