Sentiments trifft auf eine All-Star-Gruppe bestehend aus Shihab auf Sopran- und Barytonsax und Altflöte, Kenny Drew auf Piano und Orgel, Niels-Hennig Ørsted Petersen am Bass und Jimmy Hopps am Piano.
1963 zog Shihab nach Kopenhagen, Dänemark, wo er mit der Danish Radio Group spielte. Während dieser Zeit hat er auch Musik unter seinem eigenen Namen aufgenommen und veröffentlicht, und hier entstand Sentiments. Sentiments präsentiert eine All-Star-Gruppe bestehend aus Shihab auf Sopran- und Barytonsax und Altflöte, Kenny Drew auf Piano und Orgel, Niels-Hennig Ørsted Petersen am Bass und Jimmy Hopps am Piano.
Die schiere Begabung der Musiker zeigt sich auf dem Album, das als groovige, gut komponierte Platte erscheint, in der alle Töne und Rhythmen natürlich wirken und nichts gezwungen erscheint.
