Zusammen mit dem Pianisten Kenny Drew, Bassisten Niels Pedersen und Drummer Albert »Tootie« Heath spielte der renommierte Tenor Saxophonist Johnny Griffin im Jahr 1967 ein fulminantes Konzert in Kopenhagens Jazz Club Montmartre. Griffin wurde früh als »the world's fastest tenor« betitelt, was er auch auf diesem Konzermitschnitt eindrucksvoll belegt.
Die nun vorliegende neue Vinyl-Fassung wurde auf Grundlage der Original Tapes von Bernie Grundman remastered und kommt als hochwertige audiophile deutsche Pressung.
