The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Jen Chapin, Tochter des Sängers von »Cats In The Cradle« Harry Chapin, ist eine New Yorker Urban-Folk-Sängerin, Songwriterin und Aktivistin mit ausgeprägtem Sinn für soziale Gerechtigkeit. 2008 schuf sie, begleitet von ihrem Ehemann, dem Bassisten Stephan Crump, und dem Saxophonisten Chris Cheek, das Album »ReVisions«, auf dem sie Songs von Stevie Wonder neu interpretierte, um einen musikalischen Beitrag zu Barack Obamas historischem Aufstieg zum Präsidenten der USA beizusteuern. »ReVisions« ist sowohl ein Beweis für Chapins einzigartige künstlerische Sensibilität als auch eine Hommage an die anhaltende Anziehungskraft und Relevanz von Wonders Songwriting. Das Album enthält auch zwei von ihr geschriebene Stücke.
