Eva Kruse schreibt: "Diese Musik ist für Sie. Egal, wie alt Sie sind. Ganz gleich, woher du kommst. Ganz gleich, wohin du gehst. Frieden und Liebe." Eva Kruse studierte akustischen Bass und Improvisation an der Universität der Künste "UdK" in Berlin bei Sigi Busch, Jerry Granelli und David Friedman. Außerdem studierte sie in Schweden bei dem Bassisten und Professor Anders Jormin. Von 1999-2001 war sie Mitglied des deutschen Jugend-Jazzorchesters "BuJazzO", wo sie Unterricht bei dem Pianisten John Taylor nahm, der sie dazu inspirierte, Musik für verschiedene Bands und Projekte zu schreiben. Sie hat fünf Alben bei ACT Records veröffentlicht, war in den letzten zehn Jahren weltweit auf Tournee und hat mit ihrem Ensemble, dem "Eva Kruse Trio", zwei Grammys gewonnen.
