Charlie Parker besuchte Europa nur zweimal, im Mai 1949 spielte er in Paris, und im November 1950 war er für etwas mehr als eine Woche hauptsächlich in Schweden. Einige der Aufnahmen entstanden bei Konzerten mit einem lebhaften Publikum und tanzenden Menschen - daher das Live-Feeling! Die Musiker sind entspannt und die Atmosphäre ist ungezwungen. Ihre Freude, mit Parker auf der Bühne zu stehen, ist für den Hörer wahrhaftig spürbar. Dieses Doppel-CD-Set enthält 2 Shows und einen Late Night Jam. Einige dieser Aufnahmen wurden bereits früher veröffentlicht, allerdings in der falschen Geschwindigkeit - aber jetzt bekommen wir die kompletten Sets so, wie sie 1950 klangen.
