Seine Fähigkeiten an der Trompete und seine abwechslungsreichen melodischen Eingebungen machten Bunny Berigan zu einem der besten Trompeter hinter Satchmo. Schon 1931, im Alter von 23 Jahren gehörte er zu den gefragtesten Sessionmusikern in New York. Auf diesen CDs sind sowohl Aufnahmen mit den Boswell Sisters zu hören als auch Aufnahmen aus seiner Zeit mit Benny Goodman. Im April 1937 nahm er seinen Hit »I Can’t Get Started« auf. Auch dieser ist in 2 Versionen enthalten.
