Eine etwas diskutable Trio-Einspielung

Und hier zur Ergänzung noch die gespielten Titel des Bill Mays Trios (mit Dean Johnson, Bass; Ron Vincent, Schlagzeug; in Track 6 stösst Gitarrist und Produzent Matt Balitsaris zum Trio, in Track 9 Mays' Ehefrau, Malerin und (und leider, leider) mehr als fragwürdige Vokalistin Judy Kirtley):
1. Autumn Serenade...2. Autumn with Vivaldi (aus Vivaldis 4 Jahreszeiten adaptiert)...3. Fall (Wayne Shorter)...4. Lullaby of the Leaves...5. Still Life (Mays)...6. 'Tis Autumn...7. Early Autumn...8. Autumn Nocturne (Verschränkung von 2 gleich betitelten Kompositionen, die erste von Bob James als zweite der Standard von J.Myrow)...9. October & When October Goes...
Für meinen Geschmack eine zwar sehr (bis bedauerlicherweise auch etwas zu) professionelle und auch nur halbwegs inspirierte Einspielung, die mich nicht vom Hocker reissen konnte. Kurz: Dienst nach Vorschrift. Doch meine Einschätzung ist wie immer diskutabel.
