Schon allein die seltene Kombination der Instrumente macht diese beiden CDs interessant, aber auch die der Musiker dahinter – beide zählen zu den wichtigsten Vertretern ihrer Instrumente. Das Songmaterial besteht zum einen aus Bebop-Nummern und zum anderen aus Titeln des ‚Great American Songbook‘. Sehr geschmackvoll – und swingend.
