Seit dem Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf ist der sympathische Italiener Raphael Gualazzi kein unbeschriebenes Blatt mehr. Mit seinem Hit "Madness Of Love" erreichte er einen fabelhaften zweiten Platz im Wettbewerb und startete somit europaweit durch. Deutschland schloss ihn sofort ins Herz. So konnte er dank dem ESC Auftritt und über 20 Gigs im letzten Jahr in Deutschland über 15.000 Alben verkaufen (über einen Vertriebsdeal bei Universal Music).
Im Frühsommer 2012 war es dann soweit, das Prestige Label Blue Note erkannte Raphaels Talent und konnte ihn unter Vertrag nehmen und langfristig binden. Die erste Blue Note Veröffentlichung ist eine neue Version seines Erfolgsalbums "Reality and Fantasy" inklusive 6 Bonus Tracks. Diese Veröffentlichung markiert die ersten Schritte von Raphael bei Blue Note. Im Sommer 2013 soll dann ein brandneues Album erscheinen.
